12 Months May 10 Jolie's first birthday party. She didn't seem to care too much about the excitement of the party or cake.

11 Months April 26 Jolie pulls herself to a stand on Daddy!

11 Months April 16 - 21 2nd Trip to Seattle! Jolie did great on the airplane rides - both ways! She did fairly well with "Pass the Baby" on Easter but isn't too sure of Uncle Doug, Popsey or Great Grandma. Jolie found 6 Easter eggs with a little help.

Almost 10 Months March 6 Jolie's mobile for the first time!! She scoots (army man crawl) backwards.

9 1/2 Months February 27 Found Jolie in her crib sleeping on her tummy! She finally figured out how to roll from back to tummy! Jolie may be mobile yet!

9 Months February 18 Nine Month Dr. Appt; Height 27 1/2 inches (50%-ile), Weight 20 lbs 5.5 ozs(80%-ile), Head Circ 45 cm. Jolie had one shot, TB test and iron blood test (12.1). Despite all the needles, Jolie did surprisingly well. The Dr said that she is very healthy. We need to work on finding her motivation to get her to want to rollover, crawl, and walk.

9 Months February 15 Jolie has her first taste of solid foods, rice cereal. She didn't think much of it and only took a few bites.

7 Months December 27 Jolie says Da-Da and Ya-Ya. Her favorite is saying Ba-Ba.

7 Months December 10 Jolie claps for the first time (in honor of Gramsey and Popsey visiting)

Almost 7 Months December 2 Jolie rolls from Tummy to Back

6 Months November 15 Six Month Dr. Appt; Height 25 1/2 inches (50%-ile), Weight 18 lbs 4 ozs(90%-ile), Head Circ 43 1/2 cm. Jolie had one shot. She was given the ok for solid food, but we all agreed that she is doing well on just Mama's milk and can wait a few months.

6 Months November 7 - 13 Family Reunion Trip to Orlando, FL; Jolie met several of her relatives. She did quite well with pass the baby and with the time zone change. On the airplane rides, she slept and nursed most of the time. We went to Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM. On the bouncy safari ride at Animal Kingdom, she was rocked to sleep and took a nice long nap. Every morning, Josh and Jolie woke up earlier than normal (between 7 - 8). Despite all the running around and playing all day, she did quite well. Although near the end of our trip she was starting to get a little cranky.

Almost 5 Months October 4 Jolie's first movie - "Veggie Tales: Jonah;" She pretty much slept through the whole thing, but Josh enjoyed it.

4 1/2 Months September 30 Josh was kind enough to share his cold with Jolie. Her first cold turns into bronchitis and is giving 10 days of antibiotics.

4 Months September 11 Four Month Dr. Appt; Height 24 1/4 inches (50%-ile), Weight 15 lbs 2 ozs(80%-ile), Head Circ 41 cm (16 inches). Jolie had to have three shots, but was her happy self again shortly after.

4 Months September 7 Jolie sleeps in her crib all-night for the first time!

Almost 4 Months September 6 Jolie blows her first raspberry! We think it's cute now, but not looking forward to it while she's eating solid foods.

3 1/2 Months September 1 - 3 Jolie spent the weekend in Palm Desert. We all had a very relaxing weekend at Andrea's Timeshare.

3 1/2 Months August 24 Jolie starts to sleep through the night consistantly! She sleeps from 8/8:30 pm - 11 pm (top-off) then 11 pm - 7/8 am.

3 Months August 9 Jolie officially found her (left) thumb! Even though we tried to get her to take a pacifier, she insisted on wanting to suck her thumb just like big brother, Josh.

3 Months August 2 - 13 1st Trip to Seattle! Jolie did great on the airplane rides - both ways! She slept most of the time on the flights. Jolie met several of her relatives including Great Grandma Ruby. Jolie had her first ferry boat ride (8/8/02) as well.

11 Weeks July 25 Daddy gives Jolie her first bottle of Mama's Milk. She drank 3 oz.

10 Weeks July 20 Nana babysits for the first time while Mommy and Daddy see a movie (Minority Report). Jolie slept the entire time.

9 Weeks July 9 Two Month Dr. Appt; Height 22 inches (55%-ile), Weight 11 lbs 9 ozs(60-65%-ile), Head Circ 38 cm (15 inches). The Dr said that she is in perfect health and was surprised how strong she is. He was able to get her to stand on her own for a second or two. Jolie also had to have four shots. Ouch!

8 Weeks July 2 Jolie sleeps through the night for the 1st time (8 1/4 hrs - 10:45 pm to 7:00 am)

7 Weeks June 25 Jolie begins Infant Massage (5 weeks)

6 Weeks June 22 Jolie laughs for the 1st time

6 Weeks June 19 Dr. Appt - Jolie has an Umibilical Hernia

1 Month June 7 Jolie smiled in response to Mommy and Daddy for the 1st time

7 days May 14 Dr. Appt - 6 lb 10.5 oz and 19"

2 days May 9 Came home from the hospital - 6 lb 1 oz

Newborn May 7 Mommy's water broke at 5:20 am! After 9 1/2 hours of labor and 3 pushes, Jolie joined the outside world at 2:53 pm weighing 6 lbs 7 oz and 19 inches long. See her complete Birth Story!
